In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Maps and Navigation category on Android in Germany showcased varied performance trends among the top apps, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, with a notable peak at around 37K in the week of December 23. Active users also displayed significant growth, rising from approximately 564K at the start of the quarter to 644K by the end.

Blitzer.de experienced a steady download rate, with a slight dip towards the end of December, reaching about 11.7K. Its active user base showed a downward trend, decreasing from 752K at the beginning to 614K by the quarter's close.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a relatively stable download rate throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads hovering around 15K in December. Active users showed some fluctuation, peaking at 470K in early October before settling at 410K at the end of the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had its weekly downloads peak at 14.7K at the start of the quarter, with a gradual decline to 9.5K by year-end. Active users showed a significant increase in early December, reaching 394K, before stabilizing around 385K in the final week.

Phone Tracker and GPS Location experienced a surge in downloads mid-quarter, peaking at 26.7K in early November, while active users increased steadily from 96K to 108K over the quarter.
